The fresh fish is with no doubt the star in the Santurtzi´s gastronomy, in its restaurants, more than twenty, you can taste it. It´s famous "Currito"( Av Murrieta 21) or "Kai-Alde"and many others, we can´t forget the sailor ambient in the port in "Mandanga"

Although there are a lot of pubs, bars and taverns in the village, the most famous zone of "Chiquiteo" (the way here of drinking and being with friends) is that called " La Chicharra" close to the park. Every bar has its special " pintxos or tapas" to eat, and you can drink a good wine, cider or the typical Txakoli.

At night the party atmosphere is in streets as Capitán Mendizabal and Juan XXIII in the center with pubs and bars as: Tabata, Kai.Berri, La Ola, El Templo, Gaua, Flinstones, The Wagon and many others.
