The regional centers, with an important tradition in the left side of the river have also their representation in the village. There are another groups too, free-time, youth, folk music and dance groups. There are also ecological groups as one that defends "El Abra" and its environment or other that protects Euskadi´s sylvester animals.

The village has several libraries with a lot of books for the neighbors to consult. The main branch placed close to the park has a modern informatic system to find the books and computers ready to surf the World Wide Web.

The village has as well, Basque language schools, music school and the SKA Serantes Kultur Aretoa. Three rooms that usually offer cinema and theatre, while we´re waiting for making true the project of a theatre school. Nevertheless, there are in Santurtzi beginner groups of scenic arts.

This is a good zone for the rock bands. From the disappeared Zarama to Ekintza or Lie me not, that can listen to their songs in Pititako Irratia, a free radio station placed in Mamariga.
